History of the Holy Spirit Parish
Holy Spirit has had an long and important history in the city of Missoula, Montana. Established in 1870 by Bishop Tuttle, who conducted the first protestant services in Missoula, the Church has grown to its present size of over 800 active members. In 1970, the Church celebrated its 100th anniversary, and prepared a history of the church for its parishioners and visitors. This has since been updated in 2005 and 2006 by members of the Memorial Foundation. The complete pamphlet is available in the Church Office. A version, complete except for final print edits, can be seen through the link below. Please enjoy the fascinating history of the Church of the Holy Spirit, our Church's official name, and thank you for visiting our Web Site.
